Slay the Spire 2 Characters
Character pages turn the card database into run decisions: what the character wants, which archetypes are strongest, and which early picks point your deck in the right direction.
Ironclad
Strength, Exhaust, and block scaling
Ironclad wins by turning HP and cards into permanent combat advantage: Strength makes attacks matter, Exhaust trims the deck, and Barricade-style block engines buy enough time for boss fights.
Silent
Poison, shivs, discard, and defense
Silent is strongest when the deck commits early: Poison solves long fights, shivs and Accuracy solve burst turns, and discard/draw keeps the best cards cycling.
Defect
Orb scaling, Focus, and energy bursts
Defect turns a small Focus lead into a whole fight plan. Good decks either scale orb output every turn or compress the fight with energy and zero-cost tempo.
Necrobinder
Osty, sacrifice, graveyard, and countdown pressure
Necrobinder rewards planning around delayed payoffs. Sacrifice and graveyard tools can snowball, but the deck must keep enough immediate defense to survive setup turns.
Regent
Stars, weapon creation, Forge, and card generation
Regent is a scaling planner: stars and created weapons create inevitability, while Forge and Prophesize let the deck line up a decisive future turn.
