Main-branch guidance and Beta previews stay separate so card values and strategy advice never silently cross versions.

v0.107.1 · Major Update #2

2026-06-18

The current public main-branch baseline used by this site. It replaces Doormaker with Aeonglass and adds major reference and modding features.

What changed

  • Replaced the old PRNG with xoshiro256** to remove detectable correlations between supposedly unrelated run rolls.
  • Added official Steam Workshop support and the Bestiary to the Compendium.
  • Replaced Doormaker with Aeonglass after its Wither and move set were refined through beta testing.
  • Adjusted enemy HP at the low and high ends of Ascension and shipped a broad set of balance, stability, and UI fixes.

What players should do

  • Use v0.107.1 values for tier ratings, card tools, and boss preparation unless the page explicitly says Beta.
  • Old seed correlation tables no longer describe this branch.
  • Prepare Act 3 decks for Aeonglass card efficiency, Artifact 3, and escalating Withers.

v0.108.0 · Beta Patch

2026-07-02

A preview branch, not the default public-game baseline. It changes cards, multiplayer, mod handling, Bestiary UX, and presentation.

What changed

  • Added 15 multiplayer-specific cards and reduced enemy Block scaling in two-player multiplayer.
  • Changed Defect interactions: end-of-turn Orbs resolve before Doom; Compact Fuel, Momentum Strike, Scrape, and Shatter changed.
  • Reworked Outbreak and buffed Devastate alongside other character balance changes.
  • Copies an unmodded save into the modded-save area on first mod launch, while keeping modded and unmodded progress separate.
  • Improved modded multiplayer version-mismatch handling; teammates should still enable the same gameplay-affecting mods.
  • Added Custom Run randomization, Bestiary stats, Aeonglass animation, and Wither artwork.

What players should do

  • Do not apply these card values to a main-branch run.
  • If a multiplayer or modded lobby disagrees, verify branch version and mod list before diagnosing the deck or save.
  • Treat Beta advice as provisional until it reaches the main branch.
